Royal Commission into Aged Care Submission Assistance
The Royal Commission will be seeking its own process for direct submissions. Click here for more information on this.
The Royal Commission wants people to tell them what they think about aged care services, including what works well and why things go wrong.
If you would like to share your story but are unsure how, OPAN is here to help.
OPAN knows that telling your story directly to the Royal Commission can be daunting. That’s why we have created a Royal Commission into Aged Care Submission Assistance service. This free and independent line will allow you to talk to an OPAN advocate who can assist you in preparing and submitting your statement to the Royal Commission.

Alternatively, you can fill out the form below and an advocate will get in touch as soon as possible to help you share your story.
Royal Commission into Aged Care
The Prime Minister announced in September 2018 that there will be a Royal Commission into Aged Care in Australia, due to concerns systemically about the quality and safety of care provided in residential care. If you would like to find out more about the Royal Commission or register to be kept up to date, go to the Royal Commission Website.
