OPAN is here to help…
OPAN acknowledges that many older people across Australia have been affected by the bushfire emergency.

Some areas are experiencing interruptions to power and communications services. If you are concerned about the continuity of your service or that of a family member, OPAN can help you liaise with provider or My Aged Care to help you continue receiving supports.
We are also able to refer you to counselling services during this stressful time.
If you have concerns about the quality of care and services you or someone else is receiving, you can contact OPAN or the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) which is the independent body responsible for aged care quality and safety. The Commission can be contacted by telephone on 1800 951 822 (free call) or via the Commission’s website at www.agedcarequality.gov.au.
